Hotel Villa El Mocanal
This rural-style hotel is in the centre of the small hamlet of Mocanal. There are 15 basic but spacious rooms, most of which have their own terrace or balcony boasting uninterrupted views of the sea or of mountains and countryside. There is a small lounge area in the reception with views to the coast where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and where breakfast is served, while dinners of traditional Canarian cuisine are served in the hotel's own restaurant just across the road.

 

Apartamentos Los Verodes, Frontera

Apartamentos Los Verodes
Located in the village of Frontera, these spacious, well-equipped apartments comprise a living room with a sofa, fan and flat-screen TV, and a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, oven and coffee maker. The complex also features a roof-top terrace with comfortable seating for you to enjoy the great views over the El Golfo valley and down to the coast. In the evening, wander into town to dine at one of several restaurants (pay locally).

 

Balneario Pozo de La Salud (3*), Sabinosa

Balneario Pozo de La Salud

This modern cliff-top hotel is located right on the coast and boasts a spa, outdoor pool and terrace overlooking the ocean. The spacious, air-conditioned rooms are well-equipped and each has either a view of the ocean or the mountains. What sets this hotel apart is its spa, which offers various relaxing treatments featuring the local volcanic spa water. You may notice a third tap in your bathroom - for a fee (pay locally) you can get spa water piped into your room. The small restaurant serves local cuisine and there is also a bar and lounge.


 

Parador de El Hierro (3*), Las Playas

Parador de El Hierro

Set between the mountains and the sea near Las Playas, this secluded hotel looks out over the Atlantic Ocean from its idyllic setting on the shore. The traditional-style hotel is surrounded by rock gardens featuring drago trees and coconut palms, and an outdoor swimming pool – a great place to cool off. The elegant, colonial-style interior opens out onto a terrace overlooking the ocean – most of the hotel’s rooms boast magnificent sea views, creating a relaxing and unforgettable atmosphere. There is also a gymnasium, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and sauna. The Parador's restaurant features creative Canary Island dishes, many based on freshly caught fish and locally grown produce.
