Revealing ancient treasures and stunning seascapes, our Greek touring holidays are the perfect way to explore this sublime land. Equipped with a hire car and our detailed cultural documentation, you discover beautiful Byzantine settlements and incredible archaeological sites, and enjoy stays in a wide range of characterful and welcoming accommodation.
In Greece, you are never far from a natural wonder or an historic gem. This is particularly true of the Peloponnese – the region where our fly-drive touring holiday takes place. Described by its long-time resident and fervent admirer, the great travel writer ‘Paddy’ Leigh Fermor, as a wild and enigmatic beauty, the Peloponnese features some of the country’s most rugged and enticing landscapes, as well as many of its most magnificent ancient monuments.
Holidaying in Greece
Restrictions on travel beween the UK and the Greek islands of Crete and Serifos mean that we cannot accept any new bookings for these destinations at the moment. If you have a holiday booking with us, we will contact you nearer the time.
We are still able to offer holidays to Corfu and the Greek mainland. Our flexible booking arrangements, commitment to safety and financial protection mean that you can travel with confidence.
Looking ahead, we are keeping our prices the same, so you can book for 2021 at 2020 prices.
Our Journey through the Peloponnese takes you to some of the most iconic and absorbing corners of the mainland – to Byzantine Mystras; the archaeological museums of Sparta; fortified Monemvasia jutting out into the sea; and the ancient sites surrounding the cosmopolitan, waterfront city of Nafplion. The extended version, Grand Tour of the Peloponnese, also features Olympia, where you can visit the former stadium and temples to Zeus and Hera.
