Learn to cross-country ski in Europe alongside like-minded Inntravel guests during the quietest weeks of the season, while staying at a hotel of character with a swimming pool or sauna. We arrange equipment hire for you, and include lessons with an English-speaking instructor.
To the uninitiated, the world of skiing can often seem quite intimidating. At Inntravel, we try to ensure that this is not the case by choosing out-of-the-way villages. On our beginners’ ski weeks, you learn to cross-country ski in a small group of like-minded Inntravel guests during the quietest weeks of the season, ensuring the atmosphere is very relaxed and informal.
With plenty of gentle trails on which to practise between lessons, your confidence and skill will grow from the word go and you are highly likely to find yourself completely hooked on cross-country skiing by the end of the week!
Beginners’ ski weeks on the quiet side of the mountain
We offer beginners’ ski weeks (‘Try It Out Weeks’) in Pertisau in Austria and Ylläs in Finland, where you can learn to cross-country ski with lessons from an experienced, English-speaking instructor, then practise under your own steam – we’ve chosen villages with plenty of safe, easy trails.
