Embark on a non-group,self-guided walking holiday in Slovenia, walking from one friendly hotel to the next while your luggage is transported. We provide our comprehensively researched route notes, leaving you free to walk at your own pace.
Walking holidays in Slovenia are all about immersing yourself in scenery of incredible natural beauty. In the true spirit of a Slow holiday, pause as often as you like to drink in the views of majestic peaks towering over lush valleys dotted with brightly painted beehives and villages where time seems to have stood still – you’re not part of a group, and have no luggage to carry (we take care of that, along with providing route notes and all the other arrangements), so take your time…
Focusing on two corners in the west of the country, Inntravel’s walking holidays in Slovenia showcase some of the most evocative landscapes. In the region of Gorenjska, our route takes in famous Lake Bled and wilder, more dramatic Lake Bohinj – each framed by the majestic Julian Alps. Our route between Italy and Slovenia, meanwhile, explores the idyllic Soča Valley, revealing beautiful riverside scenery.

With Inntravel, unlike travelling with a group, you can stay in charming small hotels and set your own timetable each day. You’re also free to choose a start date that suits you, to extend your holiday if you wish, and to decide how to travel and from where – we’re happy to handle plane, ferry or train bookings for you.
