If you wish to discover the highlights of Austria, holidays by rail are a great way to do it. An enticing combination of spellbinding mountain scenery, warm hospitality and great cities makes our Austria touring holidays – self-guided adventures through the very heart of Europe – a thoroughly enriching experience.
Our rail holidays in Austria take you through some of Europe’s most spectacular mountain scenery. Sprinkled with jewel-like lakes and laced with broad, fertile valleys, the landscape is a dream for the modern-day traveller. Self-guided, and armed with our comprehensive notes, you have time to take in the views, and to admire some splendid cities – Innsbruck’s cobbled streets and Vienna’s famous Kaffeekultur – while taking things at your own pace.
Travel to Austria
Restrictions on travel between the UK and Austria mean that we cannot accept any new bookings from UK residents for autumn 2020 at the moment. We remain hopeful that restrictions will be eased and that we will be able to operate some Austrian holidays before the end of the summer season. If you have a holiday booking with us, we will contact you nearer the time.
Looking further ahead, you can find 2021 prices for our winter holidays online, or, for a walking, cycling or touring holiday, you can book for summer 2021 at 2020 prices.
