Embark on one of Europe’s most iconic winter journeys and discover awe-inspiring landscapes from the comfort of a train or ship. Along the way, you stay in hotels of character in timeless villages and enthralling cities, with time to explore before continuing your journey.
On our winter journeys, you can admire awe-inspiring wintry landscapes from the comfort of a train or boat. In keeping with our Slow holiday philosophy, our carefully thought-out itineraries allow plenty of time to appreciate it all, with a full day to discover each place at which you stay. And because there’s no group, and no arrangements to make (we do all that, and explain each step of the journey so that you know where to go at each station or stop), your non-travelling days are yours, a chance to take in a museum or head out into the snowy landscapes.
The emphasis of our great winter journeys is on spellbinding views, hand-picked accommodation, and excellent cuisine (you’ll find restaurant suggestions in the information pack that we provide).
Details you can depend on
We believe a perfect holiday is all in the details. That’s why we place high importance on providing you with up-to-date information – compiled with the help of people on the ground who know the area – including suggested activities and cultural events, practical tips and advice, to help you make the most of your snow holiday.
An Inntravel holiday allows you considerable flexibility. We can book flights from your preferred airport, or rail travel all the way from London to the Alps. We can also arrange a room upgrade, ski hire and lessons, or add on a city break to start or end your snow holiday in style. It’s up to you…
Inntravel has been exploring winter snow destinations since 1985, so our down-to-earth experts are familiar with the features that make up a great holiday and are keen to share their in-depth knowledge of our featured villages and hotels with you. They’ll be happy to offer well-honed advice and help you get the most out of your snow holiday.
