Featuring high-quality hotels of character in unspoiled villages, our snow holidays in Switzerland for 2020 appeal to non-skiers as well as skiers. Admire the beautiful landscapes while winter walking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or alpine skiing, or take a memorable trip on the Glacier Express.
You don’t have to like skiing to enjoy the snow, and our winter holidays in Switzerland reflect that. We offer some great cross-country skiing holidays in Switzerland, and also downhill skiing without the crowds, but our Slow holiday philosophy means that the emphasis is on appreciating the scenery, so we seek out traditional villages where you can go winter walking or snowshoeing, if you prefer. For something a little different, consider a journey on the Glacier Express.
The best places for a snow holiday in Switzerland with a difference
For a non-skiing holiday in Switzerland, you could head to Guarda or any one of our featured villages – all offer winter walking and snowshoeing, plus a variety of other non-skiing activities. If your passion is for cross-country skiing, Switzerland offers some fantastic domains – our favourites are those at Blitzingen, Sils and Kandersteg. To sample the quiet side of downhill skiing in Switzerland, head to the friendly village of St-Luc.

Choose the right snow holiday in Switzerland for you
Inntravel’s winter holidays in Switzerland offer something for everyone, whatever your level. Winter walking and snowshoeing are not graded – simply choose routes of an appropriate length – but skiing is, so if you’re looking for an alpine or cross-country skiing holiday in Switzerland, you’ll need to consider what level you are. We are happy to pre-book lessons.
