The Amalfi Coast Discovery

Campania's UNESCO-protected coastline
You stay in high-quality hotels throughout this walk, with the option to upgrade in Ravello. Please advise us when booking your holiday if you would like this upgrade option.

Hotel Scapolatiello (4*), Corpo di Cava

Meal arrangements: dinner & breakfast

Hotel Scapolatiello
Popular among artists in the 19th century, this high-quality hotel has been run by the Scapolatiello family since 1821. As well as spacious lounges in which to relax, there is an outdoor pool and a terrace with views over the village and woods and valleys. Dinner is taken in the hotel's excellent restaurant.

Hotel Giordano (4*), Ravello

Meal arrangements: breakfast only

Hotel Giordano
Carefully converted from a private villa by owner Vicenzo Palumbo, this is a good base from which to explore magnificent Ravello and boasts an outdoor pool. As your stay is on a bed-and-breakfast basis, you are free to take your pick of the town’s restaurants. Upgrade here to a Superior room.

Villa Maria (4*), Ravello

Optional upgrade
Meal arrangements: breakfast only

Villa Maria
The great feature of the Villa Maria is its location overlooking the coast. The best views are enjoyed by the large terrace (where breakfast is served for much of the season), though the dining room and the superior bedrooms (available as an upgrade) share the same outlook. The hotel has been lovingly converted from a former private villa, and is elegantly furnished with antiques. Guests can use the outdoor swimming pool at the Villa Maria's sister hotel, the Giordano.

Hotel Due Torri (3*), Bomerano

Meal arrangements: dinner & breakfast

Hotel Due Torri
Nicola Acampora's mountain hotel is one of the most welcoming on the holiday, offering a glimpse of the peninsula's quieter side. His small restaurant serves delicious regional dishes.

Buca di Bacco (4*), Positano

Meal arrangements: breakfast only

Buca di Bacco
This is a high-quality hotel offering professional yet very friendly service. We include sea view rooms. As your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis, you are free to take your pick of the resort’s many seafood restaurants.

Hotel delle Sirene (3*), Marina del Cantone

Meal arrangements: dinner & breakfast

Hotel delle Sirene
This friendly hotel is located right by the sea, with a seafront restaurant and its own beach for guests’ use. Ebullient Marinella Caputo is a wonderful host and a great cook, too – her antipasti are particularly delicious. Where possible we include bedrooms at the front of the hotel enjoying sea views, while those at the back have a terrace or balcony.

Hotel Minerva (4*), Sorrento

Meal arrangements: breakfast only

Hotel Minerva
This stylish and historic hotel, established in 1878, overlooks the sea, offering fabulous views across the Bay of Naples. Indeed, from the rooftop pool you can see the islands of Capri and Ischia, and majestic Mount Vesuvius with the cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Castellamare di Stabia at its foot. Over the years the hotel has been modernised yet retains much of its traditional character. It has 63 rooms (52 of which have sea views) with air-conditioning, and spacious public areas including terraces, a restaurant and the swimming pool
