Webinar Q&A

  • Yes - you can easily extend your stay at many points along the itinerary. We recommend the best hotels and locations for adding extra nights, so you can slow the pace and explore more in depth.
  • Solo travellers are very welcome on all of our holidays. A single supplement applies to cover sole occupancy of accommodation, and this can vary depending on the itinerary, hotels, and time of year. For the most accurate pricing, we recommend speaking with our Sales Team, who can provide a tailored, no-obligation quote based on your plans.
  • With Inntravel holidays, there isn’t a representative based in each location. Instead, we provide detailed route notes that guide you every step of the way - not just for getting from A to B, but also highlighting the best sights, viewpoints and places to stop along the route. It’s designed to give you the freedom to explore independently, with the reassurance that everything has been carefully planned for you.

We can also arrange your travel from the UK, whether that’s flights or rail, depending on your preference. Once you arrive in your destination country, we can also organise all the onward travel to your first hotel - for example by train, taxi or private transfer.
  • Yes - we can usually accommodate special dietary requirements, including coeliac disease, across our partner hotels and B&Bs. As many of our properties are small, family-run hotels and guesthouses, it’s important that you let us know about any dietary needs at the time of booking. We will then pass this information on in advance so the hosts can prepare accordingly.

While most are very happy to cater for requirements such as gluten-free diets, the level of provision can vary slightly from place to place. However, we always do our best to ensure your needs are understood and taken care of throughout your trip and will always let you know in advance if we foresee any issues.
  • Typically, daytime temperatures are comfortably mild - often around the mid-to-high teens Celsius, with the occasional warmer day reaching around 20°C or slightly above. Evenings can still feel cool, so it’s worth packing a light jacket or layers for later in the day. It’s also worth noting that April in southern Italy can bring a mix of conditions. You’ll often get plenty of bright, sunny spells, but there is also the chance of some rain showers as the region moves fully into spring.

As with all of our holidays, it’s important to remember that weather is naturally changeable and something we can’t control. What we can say is that April is generally a lovely time to explore Puglia - the landscapes are green and fresh, the towns are quieter than in summer, and it’s very comfortable for walking and sightseeing.
  • Our holidays are all self-guided, so you won’t travel with a tour leader, but we provide very detailed route notes and travel documents to support you throughout your journey.

Your onward train travel is all pre-arranged for you in advance. This means we book the relevant services and include the confirmed train times, tickets, and full step-by-step instructions in your travel documents. These documents clearly explain how to get from point A to point B each day, including how to reach stations, platform guidance where needed, and what to expect along the way.

So while you travel independently, everything is carefully organised and clearly laid out for you, giving you both freedom and reassurance throughout your trip.
  • Seville is known for its hot climate, and temperatures can rise quickly - often reaching 30°C or more even in late spring. For a more comfortable experience, we generally recommend visiting in the shoulder seasons of spring and autumn.

From late February through to April, the weather is typically warm and pleasant, making it ideal for sightseeing and exploring the city on foot without the intensity of peak summer heat. Similarly, from September to November, temperatures remain enjoyable after the height of summer, while the atmosphere becomes a little more relaxed as visitor numbers ease.

Overall, these periods offer the best balance of warmth, comfort, and a more enjoyable pace for discovering Seville’s highlights.
  • A guided tour of the Alhambra usually lasts around three hours, allowing plenty of time to explore its palaces, gardens, and historic fortifications in depth.
  • The itinerary is designed for travel during the milder months, when the coastal climate in northern Norway is strongly influenced by the Gulf Stream. This helps keep temperatures relatively moderate compared with inland or higher-altitude areas, even this far north.

As a result, while you may still see some snow on distant mountain peaks early or late in the season, the routes, towns, and walking areas included in the trip are typically snow-free and fully accessible. The emphasis is therefore on dramatic coastal scenery, fjords, and light-filled landscapes rather than winter conditions.

That said, we do also offer dedicated winter journeys for those who are specifically looking to experience Norway in its more wintry form, where you’re far more likely to encounter snow-covered scenery, crisp conditions, and a very different seasonal atmosphere. You can find these trips here.
  • Yes - our destination information includes practical guidance on getting around each city or destination. This typically covers the main local transport options such as buses, trams, metro systems where available, and other easy ways to navigate independently. We also include clear advice on how to purchase tickets, whether that’s via apps, ticket machines, or local travel cards if they aren't included in your holiday already, so you can move around confidently once you arrive.
  • You can speak directly to one of our travel specialists by calling us on +44 (0)1653 617001. Our team will be happy to help you plan your Journeys rail holiday, answer any questions, and talk you through the options in more detail.
