All travellers to Spain from the UK must present either proof of Covid-19 vaccination, proof of recovery, or proof of a negative test result. The final dose of your main vaccination course must be between 14 and 270 days prior to arrival. If your final dose of the main vaccination course was more than 270 days prior to arrival, you must also show proof of a booster jab (children aged 12 to 17 are exempt from the booster requirement, there is no limit on the validity of their main vaccination course). Proof of recovery is a positive PCR-test taken between 11 and 180 days prior to arrival. Spain will accept the NHS Covid Pass or Letter as proof of vaccination or recovery, details can be found
here.
Travellers without proof of full vaccination or recovery must provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test prior to departure; the test can either be a PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to departure, or an antigen test taken within 24 hours prior to departure; the test must be laboratory-certified.
Before travel to Spain, travellers arriving by air
who do not have proof of vaccination or recovery, must complete and sign an online Health Control Form
here no more than 48 hours prior to travel, declaring any known history of exposure to COVID-19 and giving contact details.
Children under the age of 12 are exempt from the requirement to present proof of vaccination, or complete the Health Control Form.
