Win a 2‑Night Stay at The Chapel Suite, The Cookie Jar, Alnwick 

1. Promoter
The competition is promoted by The Cookie Jar, Alnwick (the “Promoter”).

2. Eligibility
The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter, Inntravel, their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter. Only one entry per person is permitted.

3. Competition Dates
Competition opens: 23 May 2026
Competition closes: 20 June 2026 at 23:59
The winner will be drawn within 14 days of the competition closing date.

4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must complete the official competition entry form in full.
Entry requires submission of personal details and ticking both mandatory consent checkboxes. Incomplete, illegible, or incorrectly completed entries will be deemed invalid. No purchase is necessary.

5. Verification & Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries. Entries that are incomplete, false, misleading, corrupted, spam‑generated, or submitted using automated means (including bots or third‑party services) will be disqualified.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant believed to have breached these Terms & Conditions or acted fraudulently or unfairly.

6. The Prize
The prize consists of: A 2‑night stay for two people in The Chapel at The Cookie Jar, Alnwick Breakfast on both mornings, dinner for two on one night, one bottle of fizz.

7. Prize Conditions & Availability
The prize is valid for a stay during 2026 only. No date restrictions, but all bookings are subject to availability. The prize must be booked in advance directly with The Cookie Jar. The prize is non‑transferable, non‑exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered. 

8. Additional Costs
Unless explicitly stated as part of the prize, the following are not included and remain the responsibility of the winner: Drinks not included with the provided dinner Room service Extras, upgrades, or additional meals Travel, parking, or any incidental expenses incurred during the stay

9. Winner Selection & Notification
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received. The winner will be notified via the email address provided. If the selected winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner. 

10. Force Majeure & Hotel Closure
The Promoter shall not be liable for cancellation, postponement, or amendment of the prize due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: Temporary or permanent hotel closure Severe weather conditions

Fire or structural damage Illness Government restrictions or changes in law Any other event outside the Promoter’s reasonable control In such circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value or cancel the prize without further liability.

11. Marketing Consent & Data Protection
Marketing opt‑in is a mandatory condition of entry.
By submitting the competition entry form and ticking both consent checkboxes, entrants confirm that they are:

Entrants agree that their competition entry data will be securely shared with Inntravel after the competition results have been drawn, for marketing purposes only. 12. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

13. General
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this competition at any time where reasonably necessary.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
