Join the Inntravel team

If you think that a tour operator just needs a handful of Product Managers to put holidays together, and some people to take bookings, think again. The 65-strong Inntravel team includes accountants, IT experts, wordsmiths, people with a commercial head on their shoulders, marketeers who know their PPC from their CTC, bookkeepers, people who respond to post-holiday questionnaires, data inputters who can get their head around spreadsheets, tech support, post-room assistants, and people-who-make-things-happen, be it booking flights and hotels, or collating maps and travel documents.*

Together, we deliver holidays that our customers love, and we’ve won awards for our customer service.

Current vacancy: Product Data Executive

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Product Data and Commercial Team for a highly numerate individual with a keen eye for detail, as well as experience of database entry and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with SQL, PHP and data manupulation is an advantage but not essential.

This role will be primarily based in our rural office close to York but can be a mixture of home and office working depending on business needs.

As Product Data Executive you will play a key role in managing the all-encompassing infrastructure of information and data on which the business relies to create, sell and operate many hundreds of holidays. In particular, the role will focus on translating detailed and wide-ranging holiday information into numerical and written data, accurately loading and maintaining this data in our reservations and intranet systems, and resolving the queries and challenges that inevitably arise along the way.

With experience and increased familiarity of our diverse system and often complex processes, the role can extend into devising improved procedures to support product management, and involvement in the wider commercial tasks of the team.

There will also be opportunities for keen walkers / cyclists to become involved in writing route notes for our customer documentation, which may lead to some domestic and international travel.

To apply, please send a CV and covering letter to [email protected] by Friday 30 July 2021.
*Importantly, since we offer self-guided activity holidays rather than group departures, our team does not include guides or overseas representatives. Please also note that you require your own vehicle to work at Inntravel as we’re not served by public transport.
