Embark on a self-guided cycling holiday in Menorca, cycling from one welcoming hotel to the next while your luggage is transported. We provide a high-quality bike and our concise but informative route notes, leaving you free to explore at your own pace.
An abundance of prehistoric remains, tempting restaurants and equally alluring beaches mean that cycling holidays on Menorca are punctuated with visits to Talayotic sites, leisurely seafood lunches and dips in the sea. In the true spirit of a Slow holiday, stop as frequently as you like to enjoy it all – you’re not in a group, and have no luggage to carry (we take care of your bags, along with providing route notes and all the other arrangements), so there’s no rush…
If you are looking for a varied and relaxing cycling holiday, Menorca is certainly a great choice. Our favourite part of the island is the eastern half, due to the wealth of pristine coves, prehistoric monuments and sleepy villages.

Travelling from outside the UK?
To give you a good idea of how we can tailor our trips to your individual requirements, take a look at the section of the website specifically devoted to travellers from outside the UK.
Alternatively, if you’d prefer to get the low-down on Inntravel holidays from someone who has first-hand experience, you can email Phil Wise. Based in California, Phil has taken many trips with us over the years, and will be happy to give you general information about travelling to Europe and the overall Inntravel holiday experience from an American perspective.
How our cycling holidays are graded
Don’t worry if it’s been a while since you last rode a bike, as our wide selection of independent cycling holidays caters for all levels of ‘amateur’ cyclist, ranging from gentle grade 1 holidays suitable for even very occasional cyclists, to grade 2-3 holidays aimed at those who like longer, hillier rides. If you want a bit of extra help, or are unsure of your level, why not choose an electric bike? (Our grading system assumes you are using a ‘regular’ bike, so if you choose an e-bike, bear in mind that the cycling will be considerably easier.)
Easy cycling for all with shorter days mainly on the flat, but some gentle ascents.
Easy-to-moderate cycling featuring undulating routes with more frequent short ascents, and a mix of shorter and longer days.
Moderate cycling with some longer, steady uphill sections, and longer days.
Fairly strenuous cycling featuring longer days with some sustained climbs.
Cycling holidays in Menorca, Inntravel style
Our cycling holidays in Menorca – in common with all Inntravel holidays – feature three core ingredients: lyrical landscapes; genuinely welcoming accommodation hand-picked by us; and delicious regional cuisine incorporating freshly caught seafood.
Trustworthy route notes
The route guides we provide are lovingly compiled by a dedicated team and continuously updated so that you can rely on them completely. Their purpose is not just to guide you from village to village at your own pace, but also to enhance your holiday experience by informing you about the cultural heritage and local ways of life.
Your holiday, your way
Independent holidays offer so much more freedom than a group holiday. Pick a start date to suit you, build in extra nights at any hotel along the route, choose how you travel – by air, rail or ferry – and from where. You’ll also get to experience smaller, more intimate hotels and, best of all, you can be entirely spontaneous as you explore.
Talk to our experts
We’ve amassed a wealth of expertise since we first started back in 1984. Whether you phone or email us, your questions will be answered by friendly experts who share a love of travel and who have experienced our cycling holidays first hand. They’ll be happy to help you choose the cycling holiday that’s best for you.
