We had a great time. In Corfu, we loved the mix of walking through olive groves, small old towns, and the wonderful coast.
The holiday was excellent throughout. The walking days between the locations are quite long days and some of the climbs are hard work but well worth it.
Once again we had a lovely holiday with Inntravel. Highly recommended.

Once again we had a lovely holiday with Inntravel. Highly recommended.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Recommend that everyone should download a GPX app.
Beautiful walking route , especially nice in May with all the wild flowers.
Fantastic terrace at Levant hotel for dinner overlooking the sea and setting sun. Very wide selection of meals.
Extremely friendly hosts at Corfu Pearl.
Having been on several Inntravel walking holidays before we knew what to expect and we weren't disappointed. In fact this one was probably our favourites. The weather was perfect, the spring flowers beautiful and some lovely evenings spent with fellow walkers. Some of the walking for us was quite challenging but we have lived to tell the tale!
Visiting Corfu in early May, according to the Greeks, is the best time of year. The island is so green and luxuriant at this time of year. Walking through olive groves with the wonderful spring flowers providing colour and fragrance was enchanting.
Excellent first holiday with Inntravel, and first time to Corfu! Really enjoyable, hotels very good in beautiful locations, and had some fantastic views from our walks. Also plenty of opportunities for swimming along the way. We booked very last minute - 3 days before departure, but this didn't phase the booking people! We received the walking notes the following morning by signed for delivery. Would definitely travel with Inntravel again.
This was another special Inntravel experience. An escape. The trek through olive groves, picturesque villages and beautiful beaches. We would recommend the Corfu Pearl, friendly hosts and good Corfiot food, much of it home grown. The highlights were the visit to the monastery at Paleokastritsa and the the monument at Angelokastro. The walk through Lakones provided a great view of both. We extended our stay at Corfu Town and stayed at the excellent Bella Venezia. A visit to the Achillion palace is well worth a visit after experiencing all that Corfu town has to offer.
An excellent, challenging series of walks, sometimes requiring one to scramble up - and down (which can be trickier) - rewarded with long stretches of steady walking through the ancient, tall olive groves, which give a wonderful sense of peace. Many of the walks follow the Corfu Trail, whose own signposting is helpful once one grasps how it works. But the detailed walking notes are one's mainstay, and very reliable. There are many fine prospects, both West over the Ionian Sea and East towards Corfu city and across the strait, to the coastal mountains of northern Greece and Albania. The hotels are good, the food too. Going at the end of September, I greatly enjoyed this holiday.
The walk to Agios Georgios has the most spectacular final stretch as you descend to the beach with views over the entire bay.
We loved the sense of travelling between the hotels, a real 'journey' - although 7 nights, it felt like we'd been away a lot longer, in a good way! We particularly enjoyed our stay at the Corfu Pearl, and would suggest that you indicate in your notes, that there is an extremely well stocked supermarket, a short distance away. We dined in rather than walking into Liapades.
A lovely holiday which felt like we had been away for longer than a week. We really felt that we had seen the real Corfu.
There were ample opportunities for refreshments on all routes, including days when picnics were provided. The last day's walk and eating a freshly caught sea bass for lunch at Gialiskari beach were two highlights of the holiday but the friendliness of people and relaxed atmosphere of the whole week made it a memorable holiday. The addition of gpx routes for the first time on our Inntravel holidays proved useful and an excellent backup to the notes.
We had a great week, the walks were quite exhausting but stunning, and the hotels perfect for the job. There was a lot of variety in the itinerary and combining with a city break in Corfu Town at the end meant we had several holidays in one, and after 2 years we needed them!
Beautiful walks along the Corfu Trail with spectucular views across both mountains and coast. There was a good variety of walks with hills, olive groves and coastal paths. In the main, the walking was straightforward but we appreciated having walking poles with us for some stretches.
Hotel Corfu Pearl was a highlight - so glad we extended our stay there. Great food and hospitality!
The highlights were the final days walk to Agios Georgios, the location, views, and friendly service at the Hotel Levant and the friendly welcome and food at Corfu Pearl (including the homemade ouzu based walnut liqueur at the latter)
An excellent walking holiday in Corfu. Detailed instructions meant we didn't get lost once! Walks were varied and interesting with very few other tourists on the trails. Hotels were great, all with swimming pools. Paramonas and Levant hotels had great views. Athena, a delightful, friendly and helpful owner of the Corfu Pearl hotel. No danger of starvation as the meals were huge!! Taxi services on time and efficient. Thank you.
We throughly enjoyed our Inntravel trip to Corfu which was organised very efficiently only three weeks before departure. They got back to us within three days to confirm everything as there were uncertainties due to Covid-19. The Corfu people could not be more friendly and we would both use Inntravel again for a walking holiday.
Corfu Pearl is more like self catering accommodation than an hotel so buy some tea, coffee and milk before you get there. Normaly Inntravel like to finish their walking holidays an a high but this was not one of those occasions. We were lucky enough to meet some companionable fellow walkers both English and Dutch. Good to be able to smim in the sea.
This was an interesting walk, largely passing through olive groves and quiet villages, on old tracks and the occasional sandy beach, though with some road walking as well. We encountered eagles, buzzards and a pine marten, as well as many unidentified butterflies. The weather was generally very good, though there was heavy rain on the morning of arrival and morning of departure, but this had no effect on our enjoyment of the holiday.
Highlights: Lots of friendly tavernas for refreshments throughout the route. Friday night Greek night at Jimmy’s Taverna in Pelekas. Friendly nature of other Inntravel walkers. Super friendly Athena at the Corfu Pearl. Unrivalled views of a spectacular coastline. Chatty and informative taxi drivers from Spiros Taxis. Costa’s Steak House in Liapades. Be careful on the return leg from Paleokastritsa (day 6 option B). The stretches off the pavement with large tourist buses roaring past is a bit hairy.
The Chinese and Asian Museum in Corfu Town was excellent, and worth much more time than we could allow for it. The long walk to Agios Georgios should be on Day 6, thereby allowing a day's rest after the even longer walk on Day 4.
Lovely walking routes, challenging in many parts but well described and allowing us to visit the quiet untouristy parts of Corfu yet staying in very comfortable local hotels and having the opportunity to sample excellent Greek food and wine with the added joy of being able to enjoy the lovely coast from the water at the end of the holiday.
We thoroughly enjoyed walking through this spectacular and lovely landscape, although I found some of the very steep and rocky sections quite challenging. Walking poles I would say are essential for all but the super fit. We loved swimming and snorkelling (at one point I watched a cormorant under water at close quarters, which was magical) in the very warm sea. We also went on a boat ride to Palaeokastritsa and the caves.
As far as the hotels went the Corfu Pearl was outstanding, not only in the accommodation but in the friendly welcome and helpfulness of the family and the outstanding cooking of our hostess. One fantastic meal after another! We brought back some of their homemade olive oil.
A superb walk, with great variety of terrain, scenery and experiences. Excellent accommodation and a well waymarked route with excellent walking notes. Quite challenging in places but well worth all the effort. Much recommended.
Be aware that if you go early September, it will be very hot. Some days we were walking in 32 degrees which made some of the ascents tough. Make sure you carry plenty of water. There are also a lot of wasps around at that time of year - particularly bad at breakfast at Paramonas. We would recommend eating evening meals at dusk to avoid being plagued by wasps. The coast line is very beautiful and I feel the views on the walk from Liapades to Agios Giordios on day 5 are better than the Path of the Gods on the Amalfi Coast with far fewer people around too. We will always remember the incredible sunsets - especially from the terrace at Levant Hotel.
