  Built as a hotel in 1890 and refurbished to impeccable standards in 2019, this boutique heritage hotel stands beside a mountain stream on an avenue of chestnut trees. Décor throughout is state-of-the-art contemporary with local spruce wood furniture, deluxe soft furnishings and oak floors. Rooms are relatively small but stylish, with views over the Julian Alps or onto the chestnut avenue and local park. For more space, we recommend upgrading your room. The hotel features its own wellness area and is only a couple of minutes' walk from the Aquapark Bohinj wellness centre and swimming pools (pay locally for both facilities). The hotel has an à-la-carte restaurant and there are several eateries in strolling distance.

  Occupying pole position on the town promenade, a mere five steps from the sea, the original frescoed hotel building dates back over 100 years. Modest-sized included rooms are nicely decorated and all have balconies with sea views, while hotel facilities include an impressive wine shop and a chic roof-top bar. The popular restaurant has a wide promenade which wraps around the building providing ringside views over the Adriatic for sunshine breakfasts and spectacular nightly sunsets.
