We invite you to take a self-guided, non-group walking holiday in Asturias, on which you walk from a charming, superbly located hotel, with a hire car included to help you explore further afield. We provide you with a map and our comprehensive route notes, the rest is up to you – it’s you who sets the pace.
Part of the allure of a walking holiday in Asturias is the region’s lush green scenery, and the proximity of the mountains to the sea. Ours are Slow holidays, so take time to admire the contrast between the limestone peaks and the rugged coastline. There’s no luggage to weigh you down, and, with no group, it’s you who decides when to pause to drink in the views. You can rely on us to select charming hotels and to provide accurate route notes to guide you, so relax and enjoy…
The Picos de Europa offer the best walking in Asturias: spectacular scenery, rich wildlife and charming accommodation. Our centre-based walking holiday on the Picos de Europa's western fringes is full of contrasts: thanks to the freedom of a hire car, you can walk both in the heart of the mountains and along the coast. Alternatively, if you'd like to see more of northern Spain, we offer a walking holiday which combines Asturias, Burgos and the Basque Country.
To give you a good idea of how we can tailor our trips to your individual requirements, take a look at the section of the website specifically devoted to travellers from outside the UK.
Alternatively, if you’d prefer to get the low-down on Inntravel holidays from someone who has first-hand experience, you can email Phil Wise. Based in California, Phil has taken many trips with us over the years, and will be happy to give you general information about travelling to Europe and the overall Inntravel holiday experience from an American perspective.
