With such an extensive range of holidays on offer, from walking and cycling holidays to winter snow breaks and great journeys by train or boat, it’s not always easy to know where to start!
Perhaps you know when you are looking to travel, in which case you can browse our suggestions for the month in question. Even if you don’t have fixed dates for your holiday, browsing these pages will fill you with ideas: peach blossom in France, music festivals in Italy, the Midnight Sun in Norway…
If you are looking for something specific, be it plenty of cultural or historical interest, good food and wine, or a wide variety of flora and fauna, then browse by theme or top ten for holiday inspiration. Alternatively, dip into our travel diaries for an in-depth look at certain holidays or just to get a feel for the Inntravel holiday experience.
Our holidays are very varied – you can explore on two wheels in Tuscany, walk along the paths of southernmost Spain, take an awe-inspiring rail journey through the Alps, or enjoy the snowy serenity of the mountains as you ski along meandering cross-country trails. The experiences may be very different, but they can all be described as Slow holidays. By this we mean looking at the world from a new perspective. You see more by slowing down and immersing yourself into local life, chatting with local people, staying in small, family-run accommodation and eating local food. And at the end of it all you feel energised, revitalised.
At Inntravel, we are passionate about the holidays we offer. So much so that many members of staff choose one of our holidays for their own getaway. You can find out about their experiences – and get an idea of what our holidays are like if you have never been on one – by reading their travel diaries and those of customers and travel writers too.
