A Cotswolds Treat

Discover Chipping Campden and Broadway
This Holiday in a nutshell
  • self-guided hotel-to-hotel walking, luggage transported
  • visit Chipping Campden and Broadway – ‘jewel of the Cotswolds’
  • learn the history of the Arts & Crafts movement
  • discover the gardens of Hidcote Manor and Kiftsgate Court
  • stay at the home of the famous Pudding Club

For many people the magnificent scenery of the Cotswolds is rural England at its very best – neat villages of golden-coloured thatched cottages, green rolling hills topped with intriguing follies, country houses boasting immaculate gardens, and inviting, well-signed footpaths that lead from one charming village to the next. Add to this a rich and varied history and welcoming hotels serving delicious cuisine, and you have all the ingredients for a wonderfully relaxed walking break.

With two nights in each of our chosen hotels, you have time to get to know the village of Mickleton before heading out along the Cotswold escarpment. Here, you will discover a landscape carefully nurtured and managed by the hand of man for centuries as you make your way to Broadway, often referred to as 'the jewel of the Cotswolds'. Indulge yourself at the famous Pudding Club; explore the gardens of Hidcote Manor; climb Capability Brown’s towering folly; and walk up Dover’s Hill, home of the historic Cotswolds ‘Olimpicks’.
