We loved our room overlooking the lake at the Hotel Seerose, with its views over the lake and its ever-changing menagerie of water fowl just below! We would strongly recommend visiting the Christmas markets in St Gilgen, St Wolfgang and Strobl by ferry, and even the little market in Fuschl proved to have some of the most interesting and original handicrafts. We also enjoyed taking the cable car up the Zwölferhorn though we were lucky to catch a clear day. The food at the Seerose was excellent, especially the pork buffet night!
We liked the markets in Innsbruck which were smaller and less crowded with tour groups compared to Salzburg. We had a great meal at the Weisses Rössel but the Restaurant Ottoburg seemed to be rather overrun with loud Americans.
INNTRAVEL NOTE: These customers enjoyed a stay in Innsbruck following their Christmas Market Break in Fuschl.
Completely faultless organisation. Everything went like clockwork. All the hotels were lovely, the suggested walks divine and the transfers seamless. Could not recommend Inntravel enough.
INNTRAVEL NOTE: This customer enjoyed our An Alpine Stroll, The Heart of the Tyrol, and Salzburg & Königssee Discovery Walking Holidays, with add-ons in Innsbruck and Vienna.
