New family cycling holiday in France for 2013 (31 December 2012)
To complement our family cycling holiday in Mallorca, we have introduced an equally gentle and relaxing holiday in the Mayenne Valley, a little-known corner of northern France at the meeting point between Brittany, Normandy and the Pays de Loire. Offering gentle cycling on towpaths past locks and old mills; time for leisurely riverside picnics and cultural visits; and delightful accommodation (the first and last hotels have pools), this is a great choice for a family holiday.
Two brand new cycling destinations launched (10 December 2012)
Our Wine Trails of South Moravia and Danish Riviera cycling holidays are worthy of note not only because they are new, but because it is the first time we have offered holidays to the Czech Republic and Denmark. Castles are a key feature of both holidays, complemented by wine in Moravia and beautiful white-sand beaches in Denmark. We have also launched a new type of holiday – wheels and wanderings – which combines cycling with walking, sightseeing and more, perfect if you don’t want to spend an entire week in the saddle.
New walking holidays in Sweden & Portugal introduced for 2013 (05 December 2012)
We are delighted to introduce a new walking holiday on Sweden’s west coast. Gentle walks reveal the serene coastal landscapes north of Gothenburg, characterised by hundreds of craggy islands and colourful villages where an array of fish and seafood is landed each day. In a very different corner of Europe, we have a new walking holiday west of Lisbon, taking in sumptuous palaces and other treasures between Cascais and Sintra, as well as a route from Florence to Siena across classic Tuscan landscapes.
