  • wide range of breathtaking activities, including dog-sledding and snowmobiling
  • friendly, English-speaking guides
  • serene landscapes and astonishing wildlife

Surrounded by dense pine forests, deep lakes and fast-flowing rivers, the tiny and remote northern Swedish village of Kangos occupies a landscape of mystical beauty. It is in this lovely setting, alongside the Lainio River, that you will find the charming Kangos Guesthouse, the ideal place to enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities and thrilling adventures.
I’d been dog-sledding before visiting Kangos, but never before had I felt such a bond with the dogs. Johan and Sara’s passion for dog-sledding is infectious and, with them as your guides for the day, you’re in for an excursion that you’ll remember for years to come.

Rebecca Bruce, Product Manager for Scandinavia
Not only do you spend an exhilarating day leading your own team of dogs through the snow – the most authentic way possible to explore these awe-inspiring landscapes – but you also enjoy three snowmobile excursions, spend an unforgettable night in the wilderness in a lakeside cabin, and try your hand at ice-fishing, savouring your catch around an open fire while being regaled with traditional Sami stories. With so many unique experiences, this holiday is a real adventure from start to finish.
