Although it’s quite small, it is on Gozo that you’ll find the best walks in Malta – walking holidays here are delightfully varied, with numerous inviting trails leading across terraced slopes and pastoral landscapes to spectacular cliffs, pretty bays and reminders of the island’s fascinating past. For many, another appealing aspect of walking on Gozo is that you don’t need a hire car to get around – you can take advantage of the frequent local buses.
