The 3 locations in Cyprus are very attractive and varied. Some of the walking routes are challenging and the steep paths eroded when we were walking in November. We had wonderful weather however! We would have welcomed advice about shortening a couple of the walks (by taking the car along a road for example). If you want to swim on walks from Neo Chorio rubber shoes are advisable becasue of rocks. The family run Taverna in Lofou is delightful. Wonderful restaurant called Nous near where you park the car for Casale Panayiotis in Katopanayiotis, serving fine French food. We enjoyed the Artemis Trail (7km) on transfer day from Lofou - definitely an easier walk than the others!
This holiday offers attractive, varied walking as well as the chance to explore some fascinating archaelogical sites.
The most stimulating and relaxing trip imaginable. We managed to do plenty of walking and see many of the sites, including seven of the UNESCO churches in the mountains - eight, in fact, but one was impossible to get into - the classical sites (Pafos, Kourion, Amathous, Apollo Hylates) and Choirokoitia Neolithic site, as well as Panagia Angelokisti outside Larnaca. The most magical churches were Panagia tou Araka (outside Loundera, a beautiful schlepp), and P Angelokisti. Far too much to eat. We were almost washed away, struck by lightning etc, on the Kaledonia trail, and had to abandon a day's walking because of the resulting landslides. Apple Weather denied it was raining (30mm fell in a little over an hour). They got no further than "partly cloudy". The Cypriots were serious, charming, hospitable in a rather reserved way. Thank you for drawing our attention to the possibility of this journey.

We found the overall topography too similar & bland. Every trail was rubbly & dry with little protection from the sun. Having done other walks with Inntravel this was underwhelming in the extreme.
This holiday gave us an excellent opportunity to experience some really lovely, quiet areas of Cyprus. We often walked the whole day without seeing another soul along the walk. The abundance and aroma of wild flowers and trees in bloom, along with the varied wildlife will be a lasting memory.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, it was our first visit to Cyprus and we immediately felt very at home, the people are really friendly, accommodation lovely and the food generally good. We experienced "Three Faces of Cyprus" both geographically and meteorologically, even in May the weather was mixed, we had lovely warm sunshine, cold with hail, and heavy rain with thunder and lightning, so always be prepared with your walking gear. In fact the weather did restrict us being able to walk on all the allotted days, so, oh dear! We'll just have to go back again to complete all the walks, what a shame!
We have done many Inn Travel Holidays, and this was up with the best of them. The walking was excellent, although the unusually hot weather made the walks from Neo Chorio tougher than they would have been in cooler conditions; but the compensation was lovely bathing in a warm sea on the first walk. The mountain walking was fabulous.
The 3 places we stayed could not have been more different, and all were charming in their very different ways; Dora was a very thoughtful hostess at Neo Chorio. Costas' Taverna at Loftus was full of character and good homely food, and Costas played the bazooka for us on our final night. Casale Panayiotis is a very classy establishment, which made a delightful end to the holiday.
We also enjoyed the cultural opportunities, visiting the outstanding Roman mosaics and the amazing tombs near Paphos, as well as the monasteries in the Troodos mountains. The Cypriot people were unfailingly charming and hospitable. We would unhesitatingly recommend the holiday, and fell in love with Cyprus.
Cyprus is an exceptional destination for wonderful mountainous walking, as long as you are prepared for the high temperatures. We found it an exceptional experience and it is in our top 3 Inntravel destinations.
We enjoyed the combination of a sunny, relaxing Mediterranean holiday, walking in stunning landscapes, beaches and peaceful countryside.
Overall a very good holiday staying at three very different locations. Highlights were the hospitality of Costas at Lofou and the (unexpected) luxury at Casale Panayotis.
Everything was so good, so highlights are difficult to list. We went specifically to see the spring flowers and were not disappointed by this. We were also impressed that the title of the trip is three faces of Cyprus. This we felt was most apt in both the accommodation and the locations. The suggested visit to the archaeological site, Kourion, en route from Neo Chiro to Lofou, was well worth a couple of hours exploration.
Aphrodonis & Madari walks were fabulous. All the walks offered great terrain and wonderful scenery. Dora recommended The Old Town restaurant in Polis which was wonderful. All dishes made on site and delicious. A lovely place for a special meal. We also went to Nous in Kalopanayiotis. It is very small and works on reservations only. The menu was extensive, not typically Cypriot, but the food was beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. Again a lovely venue for something a bit different. There is the option to pay by card now. More expensive than some restaurants but definitely worth it.
When staying in Neo Chorio, Smidgies Taverna do an excellent kleftiko meal on Tuesday (beef) and Friday (goat). If you order the kleftiko, the table miraculously fills up with meze, rice, breads and desserts. All for 14 Euros!
Personal highlights - we had so many! A swim in the Med while doing the Akamas Peninsula walk. Swimming in the lovely pool at Tavros Apartments. Eating at the Kouppas Tavern, and meeting Andreas and his wife - the night we arrived we could not find the restaurant on foot and they came to pick us up can you believe it and it was 10pm just after closing time and they prepared us the best meal ever. This is one of those experiences which bring a tear to the eye as they were so gracious and welcoming and going out of their way. Lunch in Latchi Port. Walking the Aphrodonis trail.
Meeting the lovely and gracious Irene at her cafe/pastry shop in Loufou - she is also talented artist. Having delicious wine at the Agrovino wine bar and meeting the charming and knowledgeable owner. Dinner at Loufou tavern and Andreas playing the bouzouki. Drinking fresh pomegranite juice at breakfast and on our hikes was sublime and very different us - in connection with this seeing our first pomegranite tree!
All the dinners in Panayiotis - the terrace restaurant at the Casale was amazing and the French restaurant Nous is superb. Fantastic breakfasts. Top top highlight was the Spa - even if you don't have a treatment the facilities are the best I have encountered - the Mint/Tropical shower, and the Snow Room were brilliant but everything was lovely. The Madari Ridge Circuit was gorgeous - would recommend strongly. Entering the monastery in Panayiotis was so spiritual and special, really stunning frescoes. (But try and arrange it so you visit before the tours arrive as the magic is lost somewhat).
