The remote village of Supi in the Saryu Valley in the northern Indian state of Utterakhand is about to get a new Community Centre, which, it is hoped, will bring huge benefits to the region, most notably in the provision of women's healthcare, and also in managing and marketing local crafts. The project has been spearheaded by the Village Ways Charitable Trust, much to the excitement of the villagers of Supi.
