This was our first holiday of this kind and we thoroughly enjoyed our walking holiday to the stunning Tramuntana Sierra with Inntravel. We were provided with excellent information and detailed walking notes and instructions. Antonio was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful providing us with a smooth and safe journey to and from the airport to our hotel. The hotel El Guia was perfectly situated just a few minutes walk from the town square in Sòller and next to the tram and train stations. The room was comfortable and clean and the food served at breakfast and dinner was very good with excellent service. We visited for four nights at the very end of the season, had lovely weather and enjoyed quieter routes and villages. We completed the fairly challenging walk to Deia, returning by bus, visited Palma and followed the suggested 5km route around the city and then completed a walk to Fornalutz and back and the walk to Port de Sòller on our last day, returning by tram. Although many restaurants and shops had closed for the winter this didn't detract from the enjoyment of the area. We particularly enjoyed eating at restaurant Lluna 36, delicious food and great service.
We loved our time at Ca's Curial and exploring the walks around Soller. Truly magical time. Thank you so much.
Another thoroughly enjoyable self-guided walking holiday, well organised by Inntravel. I hadn't had the opportunity to explore the area of Mallorca around Sóller before and this was the perfect holiday to do so. Hotel Ca'l Bisbe was also the perfect base to explore everywhere I wanted to go in the town as well as being handy for starting the walks I wanted to do. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the suite with a balcony overlooking the pool was spacious and comfortable, and there was a wide choice for breakfast.
As regards the walks, I chose to do 3 of the suggested routes: Sóller-Port de Sóller (tram back), Sóller-Deia (bus back) & Sóller-Fornalutx-Mirador de Ses Barques-Sóller. All 3 walks were varied, not too challenging, as expected, and equally enjoyable. The walk to Port de Sóller was more leisurely than the other 2 but a great way to get the legs moving as well as visit the beach and many fish restaurants in the port. On the way to Deia, I stopped for a refreshing swim in Cala de Deia before carrying on into the town for lunch (good, cheap menú del día at Sa Font Fresca), before visiting the house of Robert Graves (NOTE: not open at the weekend). I caught the bus for an 'exciting' return trip to Sóller around the many hairpin bends. Hats off to the bus drivers for brilliantly negotiating some tricky sections of mountain road! Fornalutx is a beautiful little village and worth exploring before heading up to the Mirador de Ses Barques viewpoint for some stunning views down to Port de Sóller. Refreshments available at the top as well as a decent-looking restaurant (many tables were already reserved) which, unfortunately, I didn't have time to try.
Ca'l Bisbe didn't do evening meals but that didn't matter at all as there were plenty of excellent eateries in town. I tried many of those suggested by Inntravel and, though not cheap, were excellent (Ca'n Pintxo, Casa Alvaro, Petit Celler Cas Carreter, and also Restaurante Bistro Scholl). I added a couple of nights to the suggested 3-night stay and I'm certainly pleased I did as there was plenty to do in the area; as the return flight wasn't til very late, I used my last day to catch a bus to Valldemossa (aound 45 mins) to explore yet another beautiful town, including the palace and the monastery where Chopin spent a winter, and have a tasty lunch in the very welcoming Quita Penas restaurant. It was a marvelous few days!

Another seemless and professional Inntravel trip. We absolutely loved C'as Curial: a big thank you to Andres and Jesus for making our stay so comfortable and easy, they could not have been more helpful. Stunning location in the middle of wonderful orange groves, great room and superb breakfast. The short walk into Soller town centre was always interesting too.
We combined walks 1 and 2 the day we arrived which was quite stretching but worth it as it meant we could do all the walks. We did the final walk in reverse, taking the morning boat out to Cala Tuent, and walking all the way back to Soller, avoiding the need for taxis, and walking without other hikers on the path for quite a long time. We took very fine sandwiches from Forn de Barri on Carrer de sa Lluna and it was an outstanding walk, with amazing coastal views. Soller and the surrounding villages were pretty busy (in the week before Easter at least), so we'd highly recommend making restaurant reservations, particularly at Cala Deia if you want to eat there at the end of that fine walk.
This was our first visit to Majorca and the Tramontana Sierra mountains are beautiful. Ca Bisbe is a lovely hotel....there is no need to upgrade. March is a good time to go.....the weather is pleasantly warm and the hotel is still quiet.
It was my first walking holiday and overall it was a success. On the whole, the walking routes were very well signposted, so the notes provided by Inntravel were a good backup to double-check I was going the right way. I particularly enjoyed the walk from Soller to Deia and also the round trip via Fornalutx and Mirador viewing point. The routes were very quiet but I felt safe walking on my own. I really liked returning to the swimming pool to cool down after walking in the heat all day! The hotel is in a great location close to the main square where there is wide choice of restaurants and cafes.
Ca's Curial is a charming, family run hotel where nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful and the fresh orange juice came from fruit freshly picked from their orchard. Dinners are a set menu - whatever Mama is cooking that day - but the food was excellent. The setting of the pool amongst the natural shade of the trees and surrounded by orange and lemon trees was gorgeous. Whilst the hotel was 10 - 15 minutes from the centre of Soller, it was worth the walk to be out of the melee and in such beautiful and peaceful surroundings.
Thoroughly endorse your recommendation of Ca'n Pinxto in Sóller. Lovely restaurant - great food and atmosphere. Forn de Barri on Carrer de da Lluna is an excellent bakery - stock up with empanadas for picnic lunch during a walk. And loved Finca son Mico on the walk to Deia, beautiful place with stunning view and cake!
We had a fabulous holiday and loved all of the places we stayed. Would definitely recommend travelling by ferry between the islands. It was all very straight forward. Hope to return to most of the places we walked to in the future.

Cal Bisbe in Soller is a really lovely hotel very helpful friendly staff & lots of good restaurants within a few minutes walk.
Great base to start your walks which were varied & interesting with fab views of the surrounding area.
