Mesmerising land of souks & spices
This Holiday in a nutshell
  • privately guided walking holiday
  • experience the colourful chaos of Marrakesh
  • overnight in a Bedouin encampment in the desert
  • explore the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains

Morocco is a land to thrill the senses, from the rich aromas of spices in the souks and the joyously noisy city of Marrakesh, to the mouthwatering cuisine of the Berbers and the rich colours of the landscape, which range from earthy ochres and reds of the desert and mountains to the green of the surprisingly lush valleys.

Our Berber hosts fixed us an excellent meal, (complete with a cooler of beer and wine), built us a campfire, played music and sang, and insisted that we dance. It was great fun!
Mr Bender, USA

This spectacular two-week adventure begins in Marrakesh, one of the most exciting cities in North Africa, with time to soak up its heady atmosphere before retiring to the peace and calm of your stylish riad, a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city. The mountains and deserts, which you then explore by camel, jeep and on foot, could not be more different. Walking here gives you the opportunity for rewarding exploration and quiet contemplation as you discover the foothills of the Atlas, beyond which rolling green valleys lead the eye away to snow-capped peaks. You stay in a traditional Berber village, spend a night beneath the stars in a desert camp and experience Morocco as few see it.

You are accompanied by English-speaking local guides for much of your holiday, ensuring your time in Morocco becomes an unforgettable holiday of a lifetime.
