On a non-group,self-guided walking holiday in Germany, we provide maps and our carefully researched route notes, so that you can walk from one hotel of character to the next while your luggage is transported, or explore from a single base – always at a pace that suits you.
When you walk in Germany, make it worth it on an Inntravel holiday. Our carefully planned routes (described in easy-to-follow notes) are the perfect way to discover the country up close, allowing plenty of time to appreciate your surroundings. And because there’s no group, no arrangements to make (we do all that), and no luggage to worry about, you can make impromptu stops to watch an eagle, learn about local history, or to sip a local brew in a beer garden.
Judging by where Germans go, the best region for a walking holiday in Germany would probably be the Black Forest. Walking holidays in Bavaria, meanwhile, where we offer both easy walking holidays and more challenging hiking holidays, combine glittering lakes with vistas of peaks such as the Watzmann. Elsewhere, the shores of Lake Constance reward walkers with far-reaching views.
Our walking holidays in Germany cater for all levels (see our grading system below), from easy walking around Lake Constance and near the castles of King Ludwig II, to the demanding but rewarding routes offered by our walking holiday in Bavaria's Berchtesgaden National Park. Our walking holiday in the Black Forest, meanwhile, offers moderate walking.
