The walking holiday was great. We totally enjoyed it. It was our second Inntravel holiday so we had high expectations. The owner at the chateaux hotel was quite rude and that left a downer on our first night. But as soon as we got to the Castellas in Collias we were won over. Fab hotel and lovely people made us feel very welcome. Walks were great especially the onward route to Pierrerue. The towns and vineyards great. Hotel Alex in Marseille was nice but we would of preferred a smaller hotel not so in the centre and more Inntravel if we can say that. There was no food offered and we felt left a bit as there was no taxi or travel arranged to the airport. Our last holiday arranged our taxi back to the airport. When we enquired we were told you no longer do this. Overall it was a lovely holiday just disappointed in Marseille. Felt it was a bit premier inn not Inntravel.

Absolutely superb holiday walking through beautiful French countryside, visiting medieval towns and staying in wonderful, characterful hotels. Market in Uzes on Wednesday morning was great experience. Thank you, Inntravel.
Fascinating walk to see the nature and history of the region. Comfortable, characterful hotels with excellent food and delicious local wine.
All the accommodation and food was very high quality and a real treat. We were a bit underwhelmed by the walk from Collias to Vers-Pont-du-Gard until we came across the quarries which were an amazing sight and we appreciated the information boards and bench. We spent a whole day at the Pont du Gard area and were very glad we did. The museum is excellent, especially at putting the Pont du Gard into the wider context of the whole aquaduct between Uzes and Nimes. We would have liked to visit the area of the source of the water around Uzes. On the way back to la Begude Saint Pierre we took a wrong turn (easily done and only about 50m) and came across another bit of the aquaduct that had the incredible build up of limescale where farmers tapped into the water, and the way the arches had to be infilled to give extra support. We were very glad we went the wrong way and saw it before back tracking. If you could incorporate following the aquaduct at various points on the way back (there's a lot of it there), I'm sure others would find it interesting.
This was our first InnTravel holiday and we were delighted with the whole experience and guidance notes. Each hotel and walk was different and it was clear a lot of research had been carried out beforehand. Uzes, Collias and Ver Pon du Gard were beautiful villages which we would love to visit again some day. We can't wait until our next InnTravel holiday.
We loved the walking and sights on the Secret of Provence! Our family of 4 had a wonderful time. We also loved the inns and meals, which were exceptional. The only thing we would do differently is stay additional nights at the inns because they were so fabulous.
Routes were very well described. The inns were also very nice with the exeption of dinner at La Bégude Saint-Pierre. We did not use the transfer service as we had heavy rain on the first day and decided to keep our car.
We loved our holiday trip. The notes provided for all the walks were extremely helpful and cannot fault one thing about the holiday and the planning that went behind it. Inntravel thought of every little detail, from train tickets to letting hotels know when to expect us. We really loved our holiday and look forward to using Inntravel again.
