Overall our holiday in both Granada and Mairena was excellent. The position of Casa Morsica hotel was ideally situated tucked away up a side street away from traffic and noise but close to the restuarants with a fantastic view of the Alhambra from our bedroom window. The staff were pleasant and helpful with a lovely breakfast provided.
Our stay in the Alpujarran village of Mairena with David and Emma was wonderful. The panoramic view from our balcony was one to behold stretching all the way to the Sierra Nevada mountains on the horizon. The food throughout was beautifully cooked, delicious and retained a Spanish flavour of the local region. The cooks really did themselves proud! Both David and Emma were very helpful and took an interest in making sure our holiday went as smoothly as possible and providing assistance where required.
The old cliche, "it's people that make the difference" is certainly true for this holiday.
INNTRAVEL NOTE - these customers combined our Life in an Alpujarran Village holiday with the Granada add-on.
Overall, a very good holiday; great walking, ideal hotels etc. The only disappointments were the unimaginative breakfasts at both hotels and the poor picnics offered in Grazalema.
