Extend your stay
If you are flying via medieval Pisa, add on a city break for a real contrast to your cycling holiday.

This Holiday in a nutshell
  • self-guided hotel-to-hotel cycling, luggage transported
  • classic, rolling Tuscan landscapes
  • varied, quality accommodation
  • delicious food and wine
  • visit unforgettable San Gimignano and discover Siena

Admire the celebrated towers of San Gimignano and savour the winning combination of Tuscan regional cooking, with its renowned meat and pasta dishes, and world-class wines such as Chianti and Brunello, on a memorable cycling holiday that includes magnificent Siena.

Within minutes, we were in the landscape of those paintings, the air sweet with herbs and resin - there stood Siena behind us, in all its walled medieval glory, and, ahead, another noble house with a neat garden and a view of such beauty.

The Sunday Times
The Chianti Hills are as famed for their beauty as for their dark red wines. Hill-top villages crown the rolling landscapes, and every church seems to contain a fine painting. As you cycle, you will be struck by an extraordinary sense of history, from the towers of San Gimignano to Siena’s magnificent Campo, and the alluring timelessness of the countryside in between.
