Holidays in Europe

Inntravel’s unique range of holidays feature many beautiful regions of Europe, and a choice of how to discover them, from walking and cycling to touring either by train or by car. We offer shorter versions of our most popular holidays if you want a short break, and, if you're looking to explore snow-clad scenery, we offer winter holidays on which you can enjoy the snow your own way, be it winter walking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog-sledding and more.

Our holidays explained

With just one or two exceptions, our holidays are for individuals, not groups, meaning that you can explore at your own pace. Whichever holiday you choose, you stay in accommodation of character, where you can expect a warm and genuine welcome.
  • With over 200 self-guided walking holidays for all levels and seasons, we have a walking holiday in Europe for you. You walk at your own pace using our detailed route notes, with a choice of hotel-to-hotel walking holidays, on which we transport your bags, or centred walking holidays, on which you explore from one or two hotels.
  • Our self-guided bicycle holidays cater for all levels, even occasional cyclists. To make your cycling holiday in Europe as relaxed as possible, we provide easy-to-read route notes and transport your bags from hotel to hotel.

    On many of our cycle holidays, you have a choice of route each day, and can take things at entirely your own pace, stopping when you choose to visit the many places of interest en route.
  • Our touring holidays are for individuals and cater for all tastes. We have a range of boat and train holidays in Europe – some combining wonderful cities, others focusing on great rail journeys and inspirational scenery – and also offer driving tours for those who prefer to tour by car.

    You stay in charming hotels chosen for their location and have time to explore the local area or simply unwind.
  • We specialise in snow holidays and snow breaks on the quiet side of the mountain, seeking out charming villages in the Alps and Scandinavia which offer first-rate skiing and other activities yet remain reassuringly unspoiled.

    Another common feature of all our downhill and cross-country skiing holidays – as well as our winter walking and snowshoeing holidays – is high-quality, family-run hotels offering warm hospitality and regional cuisine.
  • Our short breaks offer something for everyone, from walking breaks to snow breaks, and from cycling breaks to New Year breaks.

    As on all Inntravel holidays, you stay at characterful hotels whose owners pride themselves on their high standards of hospitality and excellent local cuisine.
