Our second winter walking holiday at the end of February with Inntravel. Both times in Tyrol but in different locations offering different experiences and with a range of varied walks. In Mösern we liked the ability to reach Seefeld and Innsbruck so easily by public transport which was a plus point and the excellent free bus service was most helpful in extending our walking opportunities. (Pick up a regional bus timetable at the tourist office - well worth having.) We found many of the trails in Mösern were through forests which were delightfully quiet and peaceful. The snow was not plentiful during our week but the walking was easy and the snow could be seen on the peaks if not underfoot!
The hotel is lovely: comfortable rooms, good food, friendly staff. Although lack of snow meant we couldn't do our hoped-for snowshoe walking, there were plenty of good walking trails, and the local bus/train services were very convenient. This was the first time we have used Inntravel and would definitely use them again!
Recommend Inntravel 100%. We wanted to do a snowy holiday that didn't involve skiing and this holiday was perfect with plenty of beautiful walking trails. The horse and carriage ride from the hotel was a highlight. The hotel was lovely in an ideal situation overlooking the Inn valley, very efficient travel to Seefeld and Innsbruck. It was easy to book with Inntravel, very informative and helpful and the information booklet was excellent. We would definitely book with Inntravel again.

Great holiday, excellent location, fantastic hotel, wonderful food, exhilarating skiing - all that you need for Christmas!
The decision to upgrade to a family apartment at the Inntalerhof was well worth it. It was an ideal space for us and our two daughters. Plenty of room to dry ski gear and house boots etc without feeling crowded. The half board aspect of the hotel was incredible. There was was no requirement to eat outside of the hotel if you didnt want to. The use of the free buses was ideal. Being able to hop on and off at your convenience was great although the buses only ran once an hour so be sure to plan your travel to avoid being stuck at a stop waiting for an hour.
Room - spacious & very comfortable, Food - Michelin standard (6 courses every night),View - mind blowing, staff-great friendly service. Everything in the hotel was perfectly presented - there was absolutely nothing we could criticise.
Stunning views with fabulous food located in lovely part of Austria
A fabulous holiday from start to finish. The Inntaler Hof was a superb hotel in a stunning location and the charming staff could not have been more helpful. What a joy to have such a beautiful single room, with a lovely view and no single supplement. The locally sourced food was absolutely delicious and the spa the perfect place to relax after a day's walking. Every afternoon at 5pm, the Peace Bell rang out across the valley and its sonorous chimes were something that I will never forget. A great location to access some fabulous walks, in a veritable winter wonderland. The most memorable one took us to Lottensee and then on to Ropferstub'm, where we shared a scrumptious blueberry kaiserschmarrn, whilst listening to a traditional Austrian harp being played. Absolutely magical! On the final afternoon, the hotel arranged for us to have a sleigh ride through the snowy forests. The perfect end to a perfect holiday.
An excellent holiday from start to finish. Hotel superb, wonderful food, very attentive staff. Nice quite area but with the option of going into a busier resort if one wanted. Beautiful scenery. Lovely walks.

The beautiful winter walking routes through the woods were definitely a highlight of our week away, we loved walking to Seefeld for a beer and a shop and to watch the skiers too.
We should have paid more attention to the sign posting of routes, especially where there were both summer and winter routes signed and Nordic skiing too.
Spectacular panorama of mountains to view from the balcony. Awe inspiring sunrises and sunsets. Combined with the daily 5 pm ringing of the Peace Bell it was magical. Pity about the road beside the hotel though! Excellent hotel with superb food and wonderfully friendly and efficient staff.
Hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere, very well run but without formality and I feel very 'at home' there. The location is great as Seefeld is walkable or by using the free travel pass, it is easily accessed so it was nice to be in a more rural location. It would seem that the bus timetables were in the process of change which caused us a minor change of plans as we couldn't do one of recommended walks so we had to accommodate this. My highlights would be the absolute quiet and peacefulness of the walking trails, the snowy landscapes and the sense of well-being that being in that environment gives.
The walk to the top of the Brunschkopf was well worth it for the superb all round vista from the viewing platform at the top of the walk. Although not a prepared path it was easily accessible as the snow was not too deep.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and experience with Inntravel as well as with the hotel. Inntaler Hof food was outstanding with fresh ingredients and excellent service/ menu offerings. The hotel was professional, friendly and clean as well being beatifully kept and maintained. The building itself and decor was gorgeous. We would highly recommend as a 5* experience (more than a 4*it is listed as). Would definitely recommend and would definitely consider returning!
Our stay at Inntalerhof was the perfect combination of having relaxation together as a family combined with some winter activities. Mosern and Seefeld provide wonderful Alpine charm combined with easy access to both Nordic and downhill skiing and other activities.
The hotel was friendly and welcoming, with spectacular views over the valley below. An ideal place to unwind.
Great for walking from Mosern. Free bus pass a real bonus. Worth buying a really good map rather than relying on the one provided. Very little information given on the menu - need to find out how the main dishes are cooked rather than just giving the name of the fish or meat.
This is the third time that we have arranged trips using Inntravel. We have always found the advice given, by the friendly and enthusiastic team, for finding an itinerary that suits our needs extremely helpful and informative. Flights, transfers, hotels and supporting documentation all excellent.
Unfortunately on this occasion we were let down badly by BA on the outward journey. The customer services team called us to say they could see our flight was repeatedly delayed and made sure we had their emergency contact number before the office closed on Saturday. When the flight was ultimately cancelled and BA would not re-book flights, the emergency support team was outstanding; re-booking flights, reorganising transfers and liaising with the hotel to ensure our overall time away was not shortened.
One of our suitcases was lost/delayed and again the customer services team regularly checked its status and updated us by text.
We can’t thank the team enough. Their support ensured an unpleasant start didn’t significantly impact our holiday when we arrived. ‘The Slow holiday people’ certainly didn’t apply to speed at which they fixed our situation!
All our friends are now aware of Inntravel’s support and we have no hesitation in recommending you as a travel provider to anyone.
It was simply a wonderful family winter holiday, with great intermediate and beginner skiing, excellent tuition, breathtaking winter walks, unlimited cross-country trails, tobogganing, and a wonderful hotel and hospitality. We had already decided by day 2 that we would be returning again in both winter and summer.
