The best cycling in Mallorca

Our cycling holidays in Mallorca explore the island’s quiet side: the profoundly rural central plain of Es Pla, which is edged to the south and east by an unspoiled coastline. In our opinion, Es Pla promises the best cycling on Mallorca – here, well away from the busy resorts, country lanes meander past almond groves, carob orchards and tiny farmsteads, offering views of the mountains to the north.

Are our cycling holidays in Mallorca right for you?

Cycling on Mallorca’s central plain is generally easy, with just the occasional ascent. To be sure that our cycling holidays in Mallorca are right for you, take a look at the grade definitions below. You can upgrade to an electric (e-)bike for an even easier holiday. (Our grading system assumes you are using a ‘regular’ bike.)

Grade 1

Easy cycling for all with shorter days mainly on the flat, but some gentle ascents.
Grade 1-2

Easy-to-moderate cycling featuring undulating routes with more frequent short ascents, and a mix of shorter and longer days.
Grade 2

Moderate cycling with some longer, steady uphill sections, and longer days.
Grade 2-3

Fairly strenuous cycling featuring longer days with some sustained climbs. (We don't currently have any holidays at this level.)
