With tranquil valleys, wonderful wildlife and a wealth of local history, the Scottish Borders make for rewarding walking country. Our Hidden Borders break explores the lesser-known side of the region, following Scotland’s famous salmon river, the Tweed, as it flows between sheep-grazed pastures and exquisitely ruined abbeys.

On this leisurely holiday, you walk self-guided between two traditional Borders towns: Peebles and Innerleithen. Your luggage is transported ahead, leaving you free to enjoy the beautiful scenery at your own pace.

Terms and conditions
The prize is Inntravel’s 4-night Hidden Borders walking break for two people (sharing a room), including B&B accommodation, 2 dinners, detailed route notes and maps, luggage transfers between hotels and taxi transfers from/to either Tweedbank or Edinburgh railway stations.
