Inntravel is an internationally respected specialist tour operator, organising ‘at your own pace’ self-guided walking, cycling and other activity holidays across Europe. Dynamic and innovative, we’re a team of over 70 forward-looking and friendly people working from attractively converted farm buildings in beautiful countryside east of York (you will need your own vehicle to work here as we’re not served by public transport).

HOLIDAY OPERATIONS

(PERMANENT, 37.5 HRS/WK)

With a keen eye for detail and a logical approach to problem-solving, you could play a key role arranging the many holiday services booked by our customers. You will build close day-to-day relationships with our hoteliers and other suppliers as you arrange accommodation, book flights and other travel, resolve queries, and deal with on-holiday issues as they arise. You should be confident using a variety of computer and web applications and have conversational ability in a European language, with French of particular interest to us. Experience of travelling in Europe is also an advantage.

CUSTOMER SERVICES & HOLIDAY SALES CONSULTANT

(PERMANENT, 37.5 HRS/WK)

Do you have a confident phone manner and excellent writing skills? Can your enthusiasm for our holidays and destinations inspire our discerning customers and ensure they receive the best possible advice to lead them to their right choice of holiday? At the same time, are you attentive, flexible and a good problem-solver, able to maintain a positive outlook during a busy and varied working day where you guide our customers through the holiday booking process, book flights and other travel, answer customers' questions, and help resolve problems that arise along the way?

COMMERCIAL EXECUTIVE

(PERMANENT, 37.5 HRS/WK)

If you’re highly numerate, tenacious in tying up details, and have a logical approach to challenges, then we have a new role for you in our Product Data and Commercial team. You’ll make a key contribution calculating and collating our holiday prices and other detailed holiday information, while your common sense commercial understanding allows you to maintain our relationships with transport and other travel service providers, implement our day-to-day commercial co-ordination tasks, and respond to the many commercial queries that inevitably arise from around the business. You may have a background in travel or accounting, but more importantly you’re very easy with numbers, have an acute eye for detail, and a confident user of Microsoft Excel.

PRODUCT DATA EXECUTIVE

(PERMANENT, 37.5 HRS/WK)

Our Product Data and Commercial team manages the extensive infrastructure of information and data on which the business relies to create, sell and operate many hundreds of holidays. In this role, you will focus on translating detailed and wide-ranging holiday information into user-friendly numerical and written data, accurately loading and maintaining this data in our reservations and intranet systems, and resolving the queries and challenges that arise along the way. You’re highly numerate, proficient with Microsoft Excel, and your methodical approach to data entry is coupled with a keen eye for detail, accuracy and consistency.

PRODUCT MANAGER - SPAIN & PORTUGAL

We’re looking to recruit a self-motivated and versatile Product Manager with a passion for authentic places and an instinctive understanding of Inntravel’s style of ‘Slow ’ walking and cycling holidays.

Reporting to the Area Development Manager for Southern Europe, and working as part of a wider team of product managers, you will have broad-ranging responsibility for new product development, contracting, supplier relations, product performance and administration, and promoting product both within and outside the business. The role will focus principally on our product in Spain and Portugal, so fluency in Spanish is essential, but there will also be opportunities to manage holidays in other destinations around Europe, and beyond.

The role will suit an experienced product manager, or someone looking to take the next step into product management having worked in a product / commercial role with a tour operator. Either way, you will need a broad range of personal skills, including imagination and originality of thought to create inspiring new holidays, commercial astuteness, strong inter-personal skills, and excellent administration and communication skills.
