Careers at Inntravel

Inntravel office

Inntravel is an award-winning specialist tour operator, organising walking, cycling and snow-based activity holidays in some of the most beautiful regions of Europe. Dynamic and innovative, we are proud of our reputation for providing quality holidays and the highest standards of customer service.

We are currently looking to fill the following posts:

IT Systems Administrator

(full-time, 37.5 hrs/wk)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join a small but broad-ranging IT team. Self-motivated and a good team-player, you should demonstrate expertise in Windows Server 2012 administration, Active Directory/GPO deployment and configuration, and networking knowledge covering LAN/vLAN/WAN technologies. Familiarity of other technologies, such as Microsoft Exchange administration, HyperV, and high performance SAN systems would be an advantage. Your role will be to assist in shaping the future of our server infrastructure.

Join Inntravel and you will work as part of a friendly and dedicated team based at our beautiful offices in countryside near Castle Howard (you will need your own transport). Please send a copy of your CV, an indication of your current salary and reasons why we should interview you, to Martin Pascoe, Head of IT, at Inntravel Recruitment, Near Castle Howard, York, YO60 7JU, or e-mail by 31 October 2016.

(permanent, up to 20 hrs/wk)

Due to a pending retirement, our friendly team of 65 staff needs an energetic and handy organiser to look after our buildings and grounds for us.

This is a good opportunity for an easy-going, flexible person who is looking for a varied and active part-time role. Basically, we’ll ask you to keep our enviable working space functioning as a comfortable, well maintained and safe environment. As well as turning your hand to small repairs and day-to-day maintenance tasks, you’ll also manage our service agreements and liaise with our cleaning contractors and a range of facility providers, oversee our office health and safety and fire prevention processes, and keep the team here stocked with essential supplies.

This is a permanent position with Inntravel offering a competitive hourly rate and other benefits, including a Group Personal Pension scheme and holiday discounts. Ideally we’d like you to work 3 mornings a week from about 8am through to the early afternoon, although this is open to discussion. You will need a clean, current driving licence as you will use the company vehicle to carry recycling, collect stocks of brochures and carry out other tasks locally.

If this sounds like the ideal opportunity for you, then please e-mail Karl or Sarah at with your contact details and explaining why we should meet you to discuss more about the role.

Please note that, since we offer self-guided activity holidays rather than group departures, we do not require any guides or overseas representatives.
