What’s more, it’s suitable for almost anyone, regardless of age! It doesn’t normally take long to master the gliding stride, and steering is easy as you ski in ‘tramlines’ cut daily by a special machine.
Our Try It Out Weeks for complete beginners are a perfect introduction to cross-country skiing. You learn in the company of like-minded Inntravel guests during the quietest weeks of the season, ensuring the atmosphere is very relaxed and informal. After learning the basic techniques, you will be gently tutored to improve your skills. As well as lessons and equipment hire, we include a fun and informative guide to cross-country skiing.
