- ski between two of our favourite mountain hotels – both with a pool
- superb food and hospitality
- vast cross-country domain to explore
- wide-ranging leisure activities
Combining two favourite Norwegian hotels, this holiday is for skiers who would like the opportunity to explore two cross-country domains, and enjoy the freedom of skiing through a beautiful, unspoiled wilderness. After exploring Fefor, a skier’s paradise in a traditional upland valley, we arrange for your luggage to be taken on ahead while you ski 12 kilometres along a section of the Peer Gynt Trail to Gålå.
This was a superb holiday which we both thoroughly enjoyed and hope to repeat. We can certainly recommend the two hotel formula.
Mr Beard, SalisburyThe trail was named after the legendary hero of Henrik Ibsen’s dramatic poem, and this mountainous region was lyrically described in the writer’s most celebrated work. Once in Gålå, you have the chance to explore another vast network of trails for all levels, some starting right from the hotel door and many with sweeping views across the fells and the lake.
