The Dolomites have a unique beauty, their jagged peaks piercing the sky above the snowy meadows, thick forests and romantic castles of the Südtirol. This enchanting region combines Tyrolean charm with Italian flair, influencing the food, language (German and Italian are spoken) and long-held traditions. In winter, you can enjoy many activities on the splendid Seiseralm Plateau, nearly 2,000 metres above sea level.
We first 'discovered' the Seiseralm Plateau on a trip to northern Italy in the summer of 1992. We were struck immediately by this unique landscape in what is perhaps Italy's most surprising region, the German-speaking Südtirol. The walking was excellent, but when we returned in the winter, we realised that the skiing was even better!
