Rambling holidays along moderate routes
If you enjoy regular rambles in the countryside or consider yourself to be of average fitness, you will find a particularly wide choice for your self-guided walking holiday, especially if you wish to consider not only our grade 2 routes but also those graded 1-2 and 2-3. Indeed, our hill-walking holidays range from an exploration of the high paths above the Amalfi Coast in Italy, to rambles along Madeira’s flower-lined levadas (water channels). You can also enjoy the jagged mountains of the Austrian Tyrol, or the magnificent panoramas around Switzerland’s Lake Lucerne.
Why choose Inntravel for your self-guided walking holiday?
If our range of rambling holidays is very varied, so too are the actual routes. Each day’s walk has been carefully researched, following the most interesting route and taking in cultural treasures and handsome villages wherever possible. We provide comprehensive route notes for all our hill-walking holidays – these reveal the lesser trodden path and offer a truly individual holiday experience at your own pace. Your luggage is also transported between hotels where necessary, meaning that you travel light on our rambling holidays, and need only carry the bare essentials with you, such as drinks, a camera and sun cream.
