Our centred walking holidays usually feature one (though sometimes as many as three) splendidly located hotel which you use as a base for exploring, with several walking routes suggested in our detailed notes. The great advantage of this is the flexibility. If you wake up one morning feeling a little sluggish, you can choose the shortest of the routes provided. Similarly, if you don’t feel like walking at all, you needn’t – the location of our hand-picked hotels usually means that there is plenty to see and do in the area besides walking (we make suggestions in our documentation), or you could simply relax in the hotel lounge with a good book.
