Travelling to India
Please read the important information about passport, visa and health requirements for travel to India.
  • transfer via Delhi to Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary
  • privately guided walks between villages
  • stay at the Khali Estate, a former colonial residence
  • game drives in the Corbett National Park
  • luggage transported throughout your stay

The peaceful Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is the perfect place to make a leisurely exploration of this timeless land as you share in the lives of the local people. You will soon become immersed in your tranquil surroundings, relaxing into a simpler and slower-paced rhythm of life. There is no need to walk each day – take advantage of what is our least demanding itinerary to learn about the crafts, traditions and culture of the villagers among whom you live.

The people we met were so friendly and welcoming and it was a privilege to be a part of this venture. Our guides, Yashpal and Khim, were very kind and attentive - Khim especially being sensitive and thoughtful to the speed at which we walked and adjusting his pace to match ours.

From the historic Khali Estate, once owned by Gandhi, you are transferred to the world-renowned Corbett National Park, staying in a tented, riverside camp from where you enjoy early morning jeep and elephant rides in search of India’s fascinating wildlife.
