We enjoyed the overall friendliness and welcome at both Le Mas Nouveau and Le Temps des Cerises and the excellent meals served by both. Special mention must go to Camille at Le Mas Nouveau for her enthusiasm and flair. Great walking routes but sadly the weather was poor overall.

The highlight was the friendliness of the people - at Le Mas Nouveau and Le Merlet especially, where the guesthouses’ scheduling built in aperitifs, when everyone (including the hosts) could mingle and chat. Also at the last guesthouse, Le Temps des Cerises, where we were the only guests on the last two nights, and where the hosts were so friendly and helpful, right down to getting up to give us breakfast at 6.45 am before running us to the station! Really fantastic holiday – we’re already thinking about next year's!

We loved this area for the walking and the guesthouses were excellent, so different from each other but all very special especially Le Mas Nouveau!

In the Cevennes you can be immersed in local culture, French language and traditional cuisine. It was wonderful not to meet a single native English speaker for a week!

We enjoyed walking in a quiet area amongst wild flowers and butterflies and lovely weather.

A good variety of interesting accommodation.

We have never had a trip staying in such unique and idiosyncratic places! They were a joy. Le Mas Nouveau was the star, partly due to Christine's personality. Some knowledge of French useful in all but Le Mas Nouveau. The highlight was the outstanding beauty of this region. Thanks again for another excellent holiday with you, we are already looking forward to the next one!

The highlight was the scenery - the Cevennes were just beautiful in mid June, with yellow broom flowering across the mountains and abundant other wild flowers - but closely followed by the delicious dinners and picnics and the (generally) very warm welcome from hoteliers. Overall, a wonderful week's walking and the best Inntravel trip of the seven we have now done.

It’s very difficult to identify just one highlight - perhaps the Day 2 walk, especially the stretch from Col du Rabusat to the end of the long ridge, surrounded by flowering broom or the meadows in flower south of Bellecoste on Day 4 or eating dinner with 19 French people around the big table at Le Merlet on the Saturday evening - we thought we'd strayed into a French film! We had a marvellous time. A very memorable holiday, with very well chosen hotels and chambres d'hôtes.

Les Temps de Cerises was a particularly outstanding guesthouse and a good way to end a strenuous week of walking.

The walking was amazing - a perfect choice of routes. We enjoyed being in the landscape, away from roads, towns and other people. It was spectacular. We haven't ever had a package holiday before because of the expense but are very glad we made an exception this year. It was wonderful. Le Mas Nouveau and Les Temps Cerises in particular were amazing accommodations, and we might not have found them if booking independently.

The highlight was the good walking and the opportunity to communicate with local people. The walking was quite challenging - we understand that this walk has just been upgraded and so some of the online comments about the previous years' experiences may not be entirely valid.

Le Mas Nouveau was really special - the walking routes around the Tarn were also very special but all the paths were very enjoyable. All people were friendly and the taxi was also very good.

The variation in the walks each day was brilliant - and the high quality of the cuisines was a close second!

The beauty of the countryside on all the walks couldn't have been bettered, and the food provided each evening was wonderful - we could have been on a gourmet dining holiday instead of a walking holiday!

The highlights were jaw-dropping views, rock pools and ancient hamlets…

The highlight for us was the variety of interesting places to stay where there was always a warm welcome and the food was generally excellent.

A lovely holiday – very well organised and well graded, beginning with an easy walk. The views were outstanding – particularly on the walk from Pont de Montvert.

Food, scenery, walks and weather all excellent. A delightful area of France for an Inntravel holiday. We have no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our week. Thank you!

Very impressed with friendly welcome from most hoteliers. At Le Mas Nouveau we were the only people in the hotel and were invited to eat 'en famille'. The hospitality at Le Temps de Cerises was equally good.

The welcome from hotel staff, uniqueness of hotels and the contrast between them made for such a varied experience.

Excellent, we walked to Villefort on the last day for variety. This was a good walk, recommended for future walkers.

We have had a lovely holiday. Over the past 10 years we have done several of your walking holidays, including the earlier version of this one. For us, this is the jewel in the crown of your holidays. The walking is superb, with magnificent views and plenty of variety. On most days there is enough shade, but I would not want to do this walk after mid-July or in August, because it can then be extremely hot in that region.

This is a lovely area. But unfortunately we had very heavy rain. Walking notes were the best we’ve ever had. In viewing the local information regarding re-routing they were particularly useful as the normal route was flooded as a result of the heavy rain.
