Yiannis & Inge’s Houses, Yialova, Peloponnese• highly praised estate, popular with couples & families • mostly villas with own pools • sleep 2, 4 or 6 (1, 2 or 3 bedrooms) The peaceful village of Yialova (about 350m from the estate) is made up of farms and scattered houses, and you will find everything you need here, including a handful of tavernas, a small supermarket and a café. Its sandy beach within a small sheltered cove is popular with locals and visitors alike, the fine sands shelving gently into the impressively clear water. Nearby is the Divari Lagoon, a protected area of wetland marshes that is rich in birdlife and also home to the endangered African chameleon. You will find nature paths to follow, or you can hire bikes or a boat in Yialova to explore the area more fully. Other superb beaches, like the celebrated horseshoe beach of Voïdhokilia, are only a short drive away - a tempting spot for a lazy afternoon by the sea. The newer, detached houses, which all have their own pools, have one, two or three double or twin bedrooms, plus a living room with a kitchenette (equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven and hob), a shower room, a covered balcony and views mainly towards the coast (those that are located in the olive groves of the valley do not enjoy the same outlook, but the tranquillity more than compensates for the lack of views).

On the hillside above Yialova, surrounded by olive groves and attractive gardens planted with banana trees and colourful shrubs, is Yiannis and Inge’s highly praised estate. It is hard to decide what makes it so special - the fact that many villas have their own pool or that they boast some breathtaking views of Navarino Bay. 
If you choose to eat out, there are several very good tavernas in historic Pylos, about 6 kilometres away - Yiannis and Inge will be happy to make recommendations. They can offer help and advice on the many local places of interest: the ancient sites of Olympia and Nestor’s Palace, and the impressive castles of Pylos, Methoni and Koroni are all within easy reach. You can also hire bikes from your hosts - a perfect way to explore the local area at your own pace. 
The four original one and two-bedroom houses that share a pool face west, enjoying the sunset over Voïdhokilia Bay. In addition to the bedroom(s), there is a shower room, a living room and a kitchen corner (equipped with a coffee-maker, cooker and fridge-freezer), and a covered veranda with a table and chairs. We can also offer apartments and studios (again with a shared pool); we recommend that you call us to discuss your requirements so that we can book the accommodation most suited to you. Be sure not to delay, though, as the houses all book up early - you will understand why once you’ve been!
