We last counted nine tavernas in the village, including the legendary Lela’s on the waterfront, so you will not be stuck for choice when eating out. The Polyminia Apartments are also just a two-minute walk away from a little swimming platform, where you can indulge in a refreshing early morning dip! Kardamili is the perfect base from which to explore the Inner Mani. The drive is scenically stunning, from the lush greenness of the coast into the more arid, yet equally fascinating interior. The Outer Mani is also within easy reach, making Kardamili a good base for walking, with clearly waymarked footpaths along many routes. Kardamili is frequently described as one of the Mani’s most beautiful villages, and retains a timeless quality. It is well-known for its tranquil pace of life and good restaurants, and is set around a sheltered harbour against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Taïyetos, the highest mountain in the Peloponnese. 
Beautifully decorated by their owners (who love the spot so much that they actually live on an upper level), the Polyminia Apartments consist of a large, air-conditioned maisonette and a studio apartment. Both boast modern facilities including a flatscreen television, direct-dial telephone with internet access, and fly screens throughout. The studio comprises an open-plan lounge, kitchen and bedroom area with twin beds, a sofa, a small fireplace and a shower room. The décor is modern and stylish and the compact but well-equipped kitchen has a basic oven and a fridge-freezer. A small balcony looks out into the quiet side street. 
The maisonette covers two storeys: the lower floor consists of an open-plan kitchen and lounge area with a small fireplace and has a double sofa bed. There is also a compact, but very well-appointed, fully-equipped kitchen with a basic oven and fridge-freezer. A wooden staircase leads up to a spacious bedroom with twin beds and en suite bathroom. A balcony which opens off the bedroom affords views over the village, as well as the sea and mountains beyond.
