The nearest beach is a 15-minute walk away, while the nearest taverna and general store are in the village of Kamaria, 1½ kilometres away. You may find, however, that you spend a lot of time at Finikounda, 4 kilometres from the estate, where there are three lovely stretches of sand and a wider selection of shops and restaurants. The interesting fortress at Methoni, whose striking silhouette dominates the skyline for miles around, is less than ten minutes away by car.

Though the beaches are spectacular along the coast of Messinia, it is unusual to find such high standards of accommodation. So much so that, having taken their holiday every year in the region, Co and Marjan, from Holland, decided the only way to achieve this was to build their own place to entertain their friends and guests. The result is six extremely comfortable houses boasting sweeping sea views, and cleverly positioned to ensure privacy is maintained. Four have two en suite bedrooms sleeping four people, while the other two comprise three en suite bedrooms sleeping six. (All en-suite facilities are with shower.) 
It is easy to understand why they chose such a spot and why they came back for so many years – the location is incredible and the vistas that greet you from every villa will certainly inspire you to stay put as well! If you do wish to explore, you will discover a wealth of historical places of interest, ancient sites and beautiful sandy beaches with an array of water sports on offer, not to mention many fish tavernas where you can linger over lunch before returning to the peace and quiet of the villas to enjoy a siesta in the heat of the afternoon. 
Each house has a living room with satellite television and a stereo, an open-plan kitchen-cum-dining area equipped with an oven, hob, grill and washing machine, a private garden and a large shady terrace which is perfect for alfresco dining or for relaxing with a drink in the evening. The houses all share the estate’s large swimming pool, children’s pool and tennis court which are set within picturesque gardens overlooking the sea.
