Seeing David Grech's sketches of the Lofoten Islands in Norway brought back fond memories of my time there a few years ago. I was enthralled by the dramatic landscapes and took every opportunity to photograph every scene I saw – quite difficult when you are trying to get from A to B – or should that be, from B to Å. Self-guided walking holidays in SpainImagine walking along a deserted beach on the coast of Almería in southern Spain. The sun is beating down and the only sound is the lapping of the waves on the shore. You look inland, up a long, winding dry river valley, your attention caught by a cloud of dust rising into the air.
