Locatelli on the telly in new BBC series "Italy Unpacked"

Fancy a quiet evening in watching TV tonight? If you do, tune in to BBC2 at 9.00pm to watch Andrew Graham-Dixon and chef Giorgio Locatelli discover 'The Art of The Feast' in the first programme of their new series 'Italy Unpacked' as they continue their exploration of Italy in search of the country’s renowned history, culture, food, art and scenery. After the success of their recent trip round Sicily, tonight they can be found in the fabulous city of Bologna (below), the capital of Emilia-Romagna.

While Giorgio samples its outstanding cuisine – which has led to the city being considered Italy’s gastronomic capital, Andrew explores the red-brick façades of its jumble of medieval buildings and arcaded streets, centred on the Piazza Maggiore with its famous two towers – Torre Garisenda and Torre Asinelli – and its statue of Neptune, surrounded by sirens, water babies and dolphins.

All too soon they leave Bologna and move on to Ferrara, Modena and Parma – but you’ll have to watch to find out more...
