We know all our areas, and all our hotels. We will help you get exactly the holiday you want. You choose when you start your holiday, and are free to combine holiday ideas, staying in different countries or regions. You also choose how you wish to travel.
With nine different programmes, we offer a wide and unique range of holidays, both active and relaxed. Our walking programme features well over 90 holidays, with something for all seasons, in destinations as far apart as Madeira and northern Norway. Alternatively, you can explore on two wheels on one of our cycling holidays, or discover majestic landscapes by train, boat or car as part of a thrilling journey linking hotels of character. If you are looking for the perfect family holiday with lots to do, we have a range of holidays that cater for young and old, staying in family-friendly properties and hotels.
We also offer a range of touring holidays in our favourite regions of North America: New England, Nova Scotia and Québec. If you prefer an even greater emphasis on relaxation, choose one of the properties from our Villas, Cottages and More and Authentic Greece programmes, although you might prefer to go walking or on a discovery journey in Greece, too. For a holiday in the snow, our winter programme includes a wide range of high-quality hotels in tranquil, unspoiled mountain villages where you can enjoy cross-country and downhill skiing as well as numerous other activities such as winter walking and snow-shoeing. You will find a whole host of ideas - both active and relaxed - for weekends away in our short breaks programme, and we also offer horse riding holidays. Travel Awards for the fifth year in a row. This follows on from previous successes at the Guardian and Observer
Travel Awards including Best Ski Company 2004 and 2005, and Best Tour Operator Website 2004 and 2005, for which special mention was given to the easy navigation,
wealth of features such as online travel
diaries, and the passion shown for our holidays. In January 2008, we were also voted Best French Holiday Operator by the French Tourist Board, Maison de la France.
Inntravel is based in rural North Yorkshire. Everyone in our small but
dedicated team has a passion for our featured regions and the kind of
holiday we offer, and we make sure that as many of our staff as possible
experience our hotels and holidays so that they can offer the best possible
service to our customers.
We want you to relax and enjoy your holiday to the full, and therefore take care of all the details, from directions to your hotel right down to recommendations on the local wines to choose to accompany your meals. As regards travel arrangements, we will not only book your flights but also arrange onward travel (usually by rail and taxi) to your hotel. We offer British Airways for many of our holidays as it offers reliability, punctuality and convenient schedules.
To guarantee your complete financial security, Inntravel is bonded with the Civil Aviation Authority for holidays by air (ATOL number 2644) and the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA number W780X) for all other holidays.
We are a member of the Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO), the association for specialist holiday companies which share a passion for travel and strive to offer the highest standards of quality and personal service.
A condition of membership of AITO is a commitment to the values of responsible and sustainable tourism. In fact, Inntravel is one of only a few travel companies to be awarded 3-star Responsible Tourism status by AITO and fully supports the AITO guidelines on responsible tourism.
