How we use cookies

Like most websites, www.inntravel.co.uk uses cookies.

Cookies are small text files which websites store on your computer or mobile device so that the website can distinguish you (usually anonymously) from other users.

‘Session’ cookies (so called because they expire when you close your browser) play a very important role, enabling our website to function properly as you move from page to page, by remembering what type of holiday you are searching for or which holiday you are booking etc.

Analytics cookies are useful in a different way, logging visits to our site (again anonymously) to help us understand our web traffic and how we can improve our website for users.

A third category of cookie helps us to judge the effectiveness of our sponsored ads on search engines, and to ensure that you are shown only adverts that are relevant to you if you later visit any websites that run online advertising.

You can read a fuller description of the cookies set by Inntravel and by third party websites as you interact with different elements of the website in the table below.

Depending on which web browser you use, you should be able to exert some control over which cookies are set by our website (or any other website) by changing your browser settings. Those relating to cookies are usually found under the Tools or Preferences menu – or use your browser’s Help function to find out how. Please be aware that blocking or restricting cookies may result in certain elements of the Inntravel website not functioning as they should. For further, general information about cookies, including how to see which cookies have been set and how to delete unwanted cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

If you opt out of using cookies, an opt-out cookie will be placed on your computer or mobile device. If you delete, block or restrict cookies, this will be lost and you will have to opt-out again. Similarly, you will need to opt-out again if you use a different browser or computer.
