  • land of olive groves and orchards

South of Naples and the conical mass of Vesuvius, the rugged promontory of the Amalfi Coast – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – fuses an astonishing, mountainous landscape with picturesque villages whose construction, clinging to steep hillsides, appears to defy logic. The sparkling waters below are ever-present, the views breathtaking at every step.

The route delights the senses in every way - you walk accompanied by the scent of lemons and the murmur of the waves lapping the shore far below.

Drawn by the bright Mediterranean sunshine and the dramatic fusion of mountains and sea, visitors have been coming to the Amalfi Coast since the days of the Grand Tour. West of Amalfi, mountains, coves and villages alternate to Punta Campanella, the peninsula’s westernmost point, which stretches out into the sea towards the island of Capri. Friendly hotels combine with unforgettable walking to create the ideal short walk.
